Title: Director Business Development – ISV 

Location: US Remote

Overview: 

Our Client, an omni-channel payment solutions provider, is searching for a Director Business Development – ISV, to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to bring on ISVs/VARs/other channel partners to increase volume and residual influenced by strategic partners
  • Continually research and seek out new technologies, new equipment and integration opportunities
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of engaged direct selling ISVs
  • Implement customized new and innovative sales strategies/campaigns to increase business development
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
  • Execute on accountability, leveraging key metrics reports & CRM data
  • Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  • Oversee tracking and reporting of performance to ensure team accountability and quality of integration
  • Work on lead generation, prospect management, deal development, contract closure, and integration
  • Review base conversion and be attrition focused

Requirements:

  • Experience in business management, sales position preferred
  • Ability to provide business leadership, communicate clearly, and leverage new business opportunities
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Understanding of various merchant verticals and the differing needs relating to each vertical
  • Knowledge of persuasive win themes and effective sales strategies
  • Proven track record in a similar role with clear evidence of execution
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations with third parties
  • Excellent planning, organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Experience in Fintech, Payments, or SaaS software
