Title: Director of Digital Strategy

Location: Temple or Cedar Park, TX

Overview:

Our Client is searching for a Director of Digital Strategy to add to their Marketing team. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, the Director of Digital Strategy is responsible for managing direction and implementation of all digital activities.

This position requires attention to detail and uncompromising work standards while working under stringent deadlines. Experience with project management and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment by adapting to ever changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads is essential. This is a versatile position, which requires interaction and involvement with members, employees, vendors, and senior managers simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct all digital activities including but not limited to Mobile Banking, Mobile Deposit, e-Branch Home Banking, Bill Pay, e-Statements, all corporate public websites and intranet website
  • Assist VP of Marketing with development and implementation of digital strategy and develop plan to meet the Company’s short-term and long-term goals
  • Consult with departments, users, and project teams to gather information and analyze results to align digital initiatives with corporate strategy and needs
  • Manage digital initiatives, products, and services from concept through implementation
  • Direct all project management, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, and implementations for digital initiatives
  • Manage vendor relationships and internal project teams
  • Lead the development of digital strategies that acquire and retain members
  • Keep the VP of Marketing and senior management informed of opportunities, resolutions, and launch milestones
  • Monitor and report on metrics to analyze the adoption, usability, and functionality of digital products and websites
  • Advise VP of Marketing on direction of digital and web technology as well as needs, challenges, and solutions
  • Actively participate on teams to meet organization, management, and department goals. Will take a lead or key role in many projects
  • Coordinate and provide initial and ongoing staff training on digital projects and initiatives
  • Develop and update internal procedures for all web and digital banking services
  • Develop and update frequently asked questions and end-user guides for web and digital banking users
  • Provide input into the annual budgeting strategic planning process.

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, HTML, JS, and CSS
  • A college degree
  • A significant level of trust, credibility, and diplomacy is required for effective communication on many levels including customers, direct and indirect reports, upper management, outside vendors, subject matter experts, as well as first-level to middle managers
  • Possess the ability to think conceptually and drive creative solutions from high-level concepts down to finite details that support the Marketing strategy
  • Ability to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team
  • Ability to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence
  • Capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace while effectively handling multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities.
