Title: Director of Operations – POS, Fintech

Location: Tampa, FL

 

Overview:

Our client, a leading provider of POS and fintech solutions, is searching for a Director of Operations to oversee two key teams: Logistics/Fulfillment, and Customer Onboarding. In collaboration with the CEO, you will create and execute the strategic vision for these teams, aligning with company goals and overall direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding: Identify areas of improvement to optimize a seamless post sale experience for customers. Create processes to minimize cancellations and churn. Meet and exceed KPI’s and goals set for the team
  • Logistics/Fulfillment: Manage the existing team, and work to scale the department
  • Work cross functionally across the organization to improve communication, productivity, and efficiency within teams
  • Consistently possess a “customer first” attitude
  • Document and educate team members on best practices
  • Partner with HR to hire, manage and develop team members. Identify areas of growth for individuals and coordinate cross training where necessary
  • Develop an expert knowledge of the Company’s product offering and be able to effectively train new clients on best practices for use
  • Manage a comprehensive change control process across hardware, software, configuration, installation, and resource management
  • Multi-task and manage a large portfolio of diverse merchants with different software and hardware requirements
  • Reports to CEO

 

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in logistics/fulfillment, project management or related software/hardware experience
  • Experience scaling logistics/fulfillment departments
  • Experience managing onboarding and implementation for Hardware and Software platforms
  • Technical aptitude- able to quickly master hardware, software and platforms used at the Company
  • Intermediate to advanced POS product knowledge or demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to an accelerated Product knowledge path
