Title: Director of Sales – Restaurant POS

Location: Tampa, FL

Overview:

Our Client is looking for a hungry and innovative Sales Director who is ready to take on the challenge of helping them continue to build and expand their sales team in the Tampa office sales center.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, build and scale a high performing sales team from scratch
  • Assist in developing sales processes and organization using a data driven approach: identify and solve new problems, explore new and shape current sales models, set metrics and structure
  • Develop in depth knowledge of their product, online marketing, and competitors
  • Identify potential areas or new market or revenue opportunity
  • Develop and execute a sales plan on how you will achieve your goals and objectives
  • Support sales teams on medium/long-term planning including business potential, resourcing, and org design
  • Identify, scope, and drive critical projects and initiatives for sales teams, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Represent Company’s solution at key industry and community events and client meetings to promote products and services
  • Deliver on administrative responsibilities such as activity and pipeline reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives
  • Manage SDRs and AEs to help close sales

Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience selling SaaS/Tech startup enterprise class technology
  • 3-5 years in a leadership role at most recent sales team
  • Managed a sales team of 6 to 10+ employees
  • Proven track record in building sales, including coaching, training, and recruiting
  • Ability to demonstrate true hunter skills by having developed a new territory, new market or developed a new book of business with a new product (entrepreneurial mentality)
  • Passion for all phases of acquiring and serving customers – from pipeline generation to customer onboarding and retention and customer service
  • Able to clearly understand your business and forecast accordingly
  • Ability to consistently deliver sales results on a weekly and quarterly basis
  • Consistent over-plan achievement and high-income achiever
  • Incredibly fast learning skills
  • Clear and thoughtful communication, excellent language skills in English – Spanish is a plus!
  • Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, Salesforce CRM
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capability
  • Comfortability to work both as a manager and as a hands-on contributor
