Title: Pricing Data Analyst 

Location: Tampa, FL

Overview:

Our Client is seeking a Pricing Data Analyst to directly support our consulting service offerings. The Pricing Data Analyst will be required to track and analyze pricing trends in the marketplace using industry databases, catalogs, and public reports as well as proprietary business intelligence. A key function of this role is decomposing, normalizing, and analyzing service costs form disparate sources. Other duties include maintain price lists, contributing content for sales proposals, reviewing price quotes, generating pricing reports on sales revenue, and preparing revenue forecasts and budgets for project managers. The successful Pricing Data Analyst will be able to work independently under general guidance, to prioritize tasks, and to communicate well with superiors and team members. They must be detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to out-focus to the big picture. This role reports to the VP of Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pricing analysis for management
  • Perform margin and pricing analysis in order to support business initiatives
  • Monitor and update pricing tables
  • Validate proposal quotations for accuracy
  • Develop a system of communication, documentation and review of internal and external comparative pricing data
  • Identify opportunities to optimized pricing strategies
  • Consult with sales, marketing, project teams to develop proposals
  • Prepare multi-year cost and pricing models for internal and client use

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or Statistics
  • 2+ years of related experience in the Financial Industry required
  • Experience working with solutions involving Enterprise-grade software applications, preferably in payments, digital, core areas of expertise
  • High proficiency with Excel, SQL, BI and other data analysis and financial modeling tools
  • Highly adaptable in a dynamic environment
  • Accustomed to working in an environment driven by high standards for service and system delivery
  • Excellent team player; self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Able to plan and maintain schedules
  • Able to streamline functions with a passion to learn and grow
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity
  • Experience working with, and presenting to, senior executives. Excellent communication and presentation skills that display comfort interacting with executive level management
  • Strong financial modeling experience
