Title: Sales Manager – Merchant Services
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Overview:
Leading Merchant Services provider searching for a Sales Manager in Newport Beach, CA to lead their Sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/assist all personnel
- Oversee merchant accounts, in conjunction with the banks
- Coach and manage existing and new employees, including hiring and termination
- Delegate responsibilities, accordingly, to most meet revenue and/or profit forecasts
- Develop/Implement an organized workflow, for all departments to most effectively and efficiently process the large number of merchant account applications
- Oversee sales team to present, promote, and sell payment related products/services to acquire new business clients
- Build and implement strategic marketing campaigns
- Develop, manage, and establish positive business customer relationships with merchants
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within a schedule
- Assist business clients with basic questions or concerns
- Review application packets for accuracy and completeness to ensure underwriting
- Determine if all data requirements are present in order to complete an account submission
- Maintain a general knowledge of all the Company’s products and services
- Utilize all internal resources to resolve Sales and Client questions and inquiries in a timely and accurate manner while portraying a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor
- Create and maintain client related reports
- Keep updated of all current boarding procedures, policies, and guidelines
Requirements:
- 5+ years sales management exp, 3 years selling to merchants
- Must have a general knowledge of underwriting
- Have a general understanding of how to read processing statements to include pricing accounts
- Must be able to complete and explain a cost analysis (Rate Comp)
- Have experience with CRM systems
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle stress while maintaining a professional demeanor
