Title: Senior Financial Planning Analyst
Location: Connecticut
Overview:
Our Client, an omni-channel payment solutions provider, is searching for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join their team. This role would report to the Director of Finance. This company is growing substantially and offers a wide array of integrated financial products and services to multiple verticals.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly financial and operational reports for Board meetings
- Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data
- Build and manage large databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources
- Analyze, format, and present financial statements for company meetings
- Build and maintain a corporate financial model that details the entire company’s operations and projects future performance
- Perform cost analysis of main company drivers
- Perform ad hoc analysis for executives as required
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant, applied experience in finance/accounting, operations, strategy, or consulting
- Highly proficient Excel skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling, financial formulas, conditional formulas, forecasting formulas, and pivot tables
- Ability to work with large database of information
- Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements
- Enthusiasm for problem-solving through quantitative modeling and analysis
- Self-starter who is proactive, intellectually curious, and not afraid to seek out projects independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a collaborative mindset and approach to work
