Title: Strategic Alliances Manager
Location: Nashville, TN or remote
Overview:
Our client, a leading fintech/financial services partner with banks and credit unions of all sizes across the US, is searching for a Strategic Alliances Manager to focus on acquiring new strategic sales referral Partners while managing and growing relationships with existing Partners. This position offers the balance and diversity of prospecting for new strategic Partners with the relationship-based responsibilities of cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing strategic Partners.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and qualifying potential Partners in targeted verticals, connecting with these potential Partners to introduce the Company and assess their early fit
- Collaborating with an existing Partner to further inform the potential Partner on the Company and its solutions and further assess fit with sales goals
- Assisting in finalizing the terms and conditions of a standard Partner agreement
- Onboarding the Partner’s sales team with the Company’s sales team
- Monitoring the Partner’s bank and credit union lead generation referrals and interactions with the Company’s direct sales team on an ongoing basis
- Meeting with existing Partners (onsite and virtually) on a regularly scheduled basis
- Providing existing Partners with requested marketing materials
- Tracking and administering the referral lead process
- Collaborating with existing Partners on co-branded marketing activities, working in collaboration with the Company’s Sales Management Partner and marketing team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 3 years of experience in business development or direct sales with a focus on prospecting new sales and ongoing client relationship building, ideally in the banking and/or fintech-related industries
- Willingness to travel (approximately 20%)
- A working knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com
- Persuasive and professional verbal and written communication skills as an integral part of managing referral partner collaboration and coordination with the Company’s direct sales team
- Ability to work in an energetic, independent work environment with minimal guidance and highly organized to be accountable and responsible for results-driven efforts (in-office or remote)
